Grilled Salmon
This simple supper is a crowd pleaser. Savory and delicious, you'll be happy to add this to your weeknight recipe box.
Ingredients
- 1 1.5-2 pound wild caught salmon filet
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- 2-3 sprigs fresh thyme or 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 large lemon juiced
Instructions
- Preheat the grill (or Traeger, in my case) to medium-high heat. I love the smoky flavor the Traeger imparts to the salmon, but a gas or charcoal grill works great too.
- Place the salmon filet on a large sheet of aluminum foil. Brush with the olive oil and grab your fresh thyme (or dried thyme)
- Strip the thyme leaves of the stalks and sprinkle on the salmon
- Place the salmon filet on the grill and cook for 20-25 minutes - until it's firm to the touch
- Let the salmon rest for 5-10 minutes and sprinkle with the lemon juice
- Serve with your favorite fresh vegetable and enjoy!
