Grilled Chicken Kebabs
A quick marinade and short tour on the grill make these skewers a perfect summer meal.
Ingredients
- 8 medium boneless, skinless chicken thighs or chicken breasts
- 1/2 teaspoon ground tumeric
- 1/2 teaspoon red chile pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Cut the chicken thighs into 1" pieces. (I love this beautiful chicken from Bar 5 Meats - find them at the Minneapolis & St. Paul Farmer's Markets)
- Mix the other ingredients in a small bowl
- Add the chicken pieces and marinate for at least 20 minutes and up to overnight
- Heat the grill to medium hot and grill the kebabs until done - about 4-5 minutes per side. Let them rest for a few minutes once cooked
- Serve with a simple salad and enjoy
