Tuna Steaks with Thyme
This is one of the easiest and tastiest dishes you'll make this spring. Find some lovely, wild caught tuna steaks, grab some thyme and you'll be ready to eat in 20 minutes.
Ingredients
- 4 small tuna steaks wild caught, if possible
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1 pinch kosher salt
- 1 pinch ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme or 4 sprigs fresh thyme
- 1 large lemon sliced thin
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees
- Place the tuna steaks on a sheet pan covered with parchment paper. Add the lemon slices around the tuna steaks. Brush the tuna steaks with the olive oil and sprinkle with salt, pepper and thyme - on both sides
- Roast for 6 minutes per side - or until just firm to the touch for medium-rare tuna
- Serve with the roasted sliced lemons and your favorite side dishes and enjoy!
