Pickled Red Onions
These quick pickled onions are the perfect addition to tacos, a pulled pork sandwich or a salad.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1.5 tsp kosher salt
- 1 medium red onion
Instructions
- Mix the vinegar, sugar and salt in a jar. Shake well to dissolve the sugar and salt
- Peel, cut in half and slice the onion into thin slices
- Submerge the onion slices into the vinegar mixture, cover and soak the onions for an hour (or more) - My Kitchen owl has joined us again!
- Serve them with tacos, pulled pork sandwiches (see recipe on the blog) or salads. A bright and delicious addition to many dishes.
