Grilled Chicken Kebabs

Simple, satisfying, summer supper here we come!  These delicious chicken skewers will please everyone at your table.

Grilled Chicken Kebabs

A quick marinade and short tour on the grill make these skewers a perfect summer meal.

Ingredients

  • 8 medium boneless, skinless chicken thighs or chicken breasts
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground tumeric
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chile pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  • Cut the chicken thighs into 1" pieces. (I love this beautiful chicken from Bar 5 Meats - find them at the Minneapolis & St. Paul Farmer's Markets)
  • Mix the other ingredients in a small bowl
  • Add the chicken pieces and marinate for at least 20 minutes and up to overnight
  • Heat the grill to medium hot and grill the kebabs until done - about 4-5 minutes per side. Let them rest for a few minutes once cooked
  • Serve with a simple salad and enjoy
