Ingredients
1poundsmall portabello mushroomsor your favorite mushrooms
1tablespoonolive oil
1/2teaspoonkosher salt
1/2teaspoonground black pepper
2cloves garlicminced
1/4cup balsamic vinegar
1teaspoonhoney
Instructions
Clean the mushrooms with a damp cloth and cut the larger ones into 2" pieces
Heat the olive oil in a large sauté pan. Add the mushrooms, salt and pepper. Sauté until beginning to brown and soften - 3-4 minutes
Add the balsamic vinegar and honey and sauté for a minute or two
Add the chopped garlic
Simmer until the sauce thickens and reduces by half
Serve hot or at room temperature and try not to let your kids eat them all before dinner!
