Roasted Almonds with Rosemary
These toasty, savory, crunchy almonds are a wonderful snack and are perfect for a party. Healthy and loaded with flavor, you'll have a hard time keeping them in the house.
Ingredients
- 1 pound whole raw almonds
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1.5 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary chopped
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325 degrees
- Mix the chili powder, salt and dried rosemary in a small bowl
- Place the almonds in a bowl and drizzle with the olive oil and mix
- Add the spice mixture to the almonds, stirring as you go until the almonds are covered with the oil and the spice mixture
- Spread the almonds on a baking sheet in a single layer
- Bake for 10 minutes, remove from the oven and stir the almonds
- Return the pan to the oven and bake until the almonds are toasty, but not burnt. This will take between 10 and 15 minutes more. Check the almonds every 5 minutes. When they are done they will be a bit darker and smell toasty and delicious!
- Serve at your next party, in your kitchen or pack them for snacks. You'll be making more before you know it!
