Grilled Corn on the Cob
The easiest 1 ingredient recipe I never tried until this week. Tender, sweet corn ready in 20 minutes without steaming up your kitchen - August perfection!
Ingredients
- 4 ears fresh corn on the cob In the husks
Instructions
- Grab some ears of corn - the fresher the better. They are in abundance here in the upper midwest in August!
- Heat a grill to hot. I love the touch of smoky flavor a charcoal grill adds to the corn if I have time, otherwise, the gas grill works beautifully.
- Place the corn on the grill (no need to soak, peel or de-tassel)
- Enjoy a glass of wine (or soft drink) while the corn is cooking - its summer, after all
- Grill the corn, turning every 5 minutes, until it's charred on all sides and tender - about 20 minutes
- Serve with a dash of salt and a bit of butter and enjoy!
Such a wonderful recipe!!! This time, I have decided to rub the corn with a cold salted butter stick and add salt and pepper prior to grilling. It was absolutely amazing!
