I’ve never been a turkey fan. I roast a big bird every year at Thanksgiving, in keeping with tradition, but, for me, it’s really just a vehicle for all those great sides.
Having said that, these Turkey Burgers with Spinach and Feta have gone a long way to converting me. I began playing around with the recipe a couple of weeks ago when I was looking for something new and fabulous to throw on the grill for some friends. The turkey burgers were a huge hit. Not so much as a speck of spinach left on anyone’s plate – my favorite thing! I found that the salty, briny feta cheese enhanced the turkey’s mellow flavor and the oregano added just the right amount of earthiness and resulted in a moist, juicy burger.
Give these delicious Turkey Burgers with Spinach and Feta a try, and be sure to add a big dollop of the Tzatziki Sauce I featured on the blog last week. It’s a terrific combination. Add a Great Greek Salad or your favorite side dish, and a bun (gluten free, for me!) and you’ll be off to the races. Enjoy!
I can attest to the delicious taste and popularity of these burgers. Last week we had four young men in our house between our 2 boys and 2 nephews and the burgers were flying off the platter. Keep those recipes coming Maggie! We love you and your creations. Bill
These burgers sound so good. Thanks for sharing your delicious recipes and for giving me inspiration. I saw your email this morning and thought, bingo, dinner tonight! But, alas, it’s ground chicken in the fridge… no problem, making your chicken meatballs! Your blog is bookmarked at our house. Thanks again, Maggie. 🙂
