Pickled Red Onions
These quick pickled onions are the perfect addition to tacos, a pulled pork sandwich or a salad.

Servings 6 people
- 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1.5 tsp kosher salt
- 1 medium red onion
Mix the vinegar, sugar and salt in a jar. Shake well to dissolve the sugar and salt
Peel, cut in half and slice the onion into thin slices
Submerge the onion slices into the vinegar mixture, cover and soak the onions for an hour (or more) - My Kitchen owl has joined us again!
Serve them with tacos, pulled pork sandwiches (see recipe on the blog) or salads. A bright and delicious addition to many dishes.
