This is a regular in our house, especially for Easter. I rely on my old, tattered Joy of Cooking when baking a ham. I've created my own glaze, but the cooking times never fail. I think you'll enjoy this basic, delicious ham.

Remove the ham from the packaging and place it in a large roasting pan. Check the ingredients on the ham to be sure it's gluten free. Occasionally starches will be added.
Cover the pan loosely with foil and roast for 20 minutes per pound - about 2 hours for a 7 pound ham
Make the Glaze
Combine the 1 cup brown sugar, 2 teaspoons of dijon mustard, 2 tablespoons orange juice and 2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar in a small bowl
Mix to combine and set aside
Glaze the Ham
Remove the ham from the oven and increase the oven temperature to 425 degrees
Score the ham and brush all over with the glaze
Once the oven has reached 425 degrees, reduce the temperature back to 325. Return the glazed ham to the oven for 30 minutes or until the glaze has browned nicely.
Serve with my famous Ham Sauce and your favorite sides for a terrific meal!
