Chocolate Crinkle Cookies

These are the perfect quick cookie. Just a few ingredients make a light, chocolaty treat

Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups confectioners sugar
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa
  • 1 pinch kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large egg whites
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
  • Whisk the sugar, cocoa and salt together in a bowl or large measuring cup
  • Add the vanilla and egg whites one at a time and mix - you want the mix to be loose but not watery
  • Add the chocolate chips to the mix
  • Drop the mix on a sheet pan covered with parchment paper
  • bake for 15-20 minutes until the cookies are crinkled on the top and baked all the way through. Let cool completely on the sheet pan and enjoy. The cookies can be a little crumbly, so if they fall apart - serve them on top of your favorite ice cream!
