Thanks Giving

I think it’s an understatement to say “What a week”.  And although I’ve intentionally kept politics out of this blog, It feels disingenuous not to share that it’s been a challenging few days for me.  As I try to come to grips with America’s decision, I’m finding solace and strength in the writings of some of my favorite authors including this Facebook post by the wise, funny and insightful Anne Lamott.  A little girl power seems appropriate right about now.  I invite you to enjoy her words too, if you so choose.

As you might imagine, the other place I find comfort in difficult times, is in KilKenney Kitchen.  Over the last couple of days I’ve redirected my energy by scrubbing counters, re-arranging cabinets, drinking tea and the pursuing the recipe box to find my favorite Thanksgiving dishes to share with you.

I’ve compiled a fabulous group of recipes designed to make your holiday easier and more delicious. Equally fitting whether you’re hosting a big crowd, visiting friends and family or just enjoying a quiet meal at home.  Literally from soup to nuts and everything in between!

So if you need a little kitchen comfort over the next couple of weeks, head over to KilKenney Kitchen, hit the grocery store, brew a cup of tea and have a little fun in your kitchen.

Tune in next Friday for a wonderful, elegant and incredibly delicious appetizer recipe that I know you’ll want to serve for all your holiday festivities.
