  1. Mix the vinegar, sugar and salt in a jar. Shake well to dissolve the sugar and salt
  2. Peel, cut in half and slice the onion into thin slices
  3. Submerge the onion slices into the vinegar mixture, cover and soak the onions for an hour (or more) - My Kitchen owl has joined us again!
  4. Serve them with tacos, pulled pork sandwiches (see recipe on the blog) or salads. A bright and delicious addition to many dishes.
