  1. Grab some ears of corn - the fresher the better. They are in abundance here in the upper midwest in August!
  2. Heat a grill to hot. I love the touch of smoky flavor a charcoal grill adds to the corn if I have time, otherwise, the gas grill works beautifully.
  3. Place the corn on the grill (no need to soak, peel or de-tassel)
  4. Enjoy a glass of wine (or soft drink) while the corn is cooking - its summer, after all
  5. Grill the corn, turning every 5 minutes, until it's charred on all sides and tender - about 20 minutes
  6. Serve with a dash of salt and a bit of butter and enjoy!
