Autumn Soup with Sausage and Greens

This delicious, healthy soup is easy to make and highlights some of season's best ingredients. I use italian chicken sausage for this recipe because it's lean and tastes terrific. You can easily substitute sweet italian pork sausage, and if you like a bit more spice use 1/2 hot italian sausage. I love swiss chard in this soup, but any greens you like are easily substituted. Many stores have washed and bagged spinach, kale or mixed greens which will save you a little time as well.
