A New Day in the Kitchen

I had a wonderful opportunity, this week, to solicit feedback from a fun and lively group of KilKenney Kitchen readers.  I was thrilled and proud to hear about what they (and hopefully you) love about the website – great recipes, easy instructions, my favorite tools and tips among others. I was also truly grateful for their suggestions and ideas for improvement including better meal planning, shopping lists, easier website navigation and search functions.  I’m excited to research, pursue and implement all of these ideas and more in the coming weeks.

So in more than one way, it’s a new day in KilKenney Kitchen.  Beginning this week,  Friday will be the new posting day for my weekly musings and recipes.  I realize that many of us grocery shop, plan and prepare meals on the weekends, often cooking ahead to be ready for a busy week.  I hope that posting new recipes and meal ideas on Fridays will provide a just-in-time resource in your kitchen.

I also love the idea of menu planning and will include more suggestions for recipes that work well together.  A great example is this combination of the beautiful Lemon Roasted Salmon and magnificent Rejuvenation Salad along with a couple of grilled chicken breasts.  I think it’s the perfect spring menu for lunch or dinner.  Click on the links for the recipes and enjoy!
